World'S Best Bourbon 2024. The results of the 2024 international whisky competition have just landed and we’ve got your exclusive first look at the big winners. This year’s winners include the english sherry cask, which was named world’s best single malt, 1792 12 years old, which was awarded the title of world’s best bourbon, and ballantine’s 30 years.
An incredible 136 bourbons earned the highest rating from the sfwsc’s 70 judges this year, a number that leads me to believe bourbon has never. For 2024 that singular honor belongs to the 12 year old release from barton 1792 distillery in bardstown, kentucky.
